If money flowed like vitamins...

Two opportunities to explore Money Work - online and in London

Last night, I was reflecting on how difficult it is for some of the most insightful and creative people I know to get the support they need to truly thrive — professionally and in life.

Often, their professions or life circumstances simply mean they have little money. We live in an economy where most of the most vital, life-sustaining roles in society are either unpaid or completely underpaid (while polluting the planet often gets you a bonus). And we live in an economy where being more resourced means you get access to better support: better healthcare, coaching, therapy, professional support, to name just a few.

If you have money, you can work with the master coach, the highly experienced therapist, the platinum healthcare provider. If you don’t, you muddle through. You join long waiting lists, work with the trainee therapist, make do with limited, under-resourced support.

And I thought about how we just treat this as “the way it is”. But this is not natural. It’s by design. It is actually completely different from how many systems in nature work.

Take the immune system. It doesn’t send its most precious resources to the strongest parts of the body. It directs them to the places that need them most, and it does so urgently, intelligently, and with remarkable precision.

What would our human systems look like if they worked more like that?

How would it be to move from the inequitable and harmful economic relationships we treat as normal, to more life-giving and nourishing relationships and resource flows?

Who are we with (and without) money, and who else could we be?

What happens when we let resources flow where they are most needed, rather than where they already concentrate?

What happens when we give and receive with love and integrity, rather than letting autopilot stories about winning and losing run the show?

These questions sit at the heart of Peter Koenig’s Money Work and 🌈 Nadjeschda Taranczewski, MCC’s CU*money programme at ConsciousU I online coaching, which I’m looking forward to taking a new cohort through starting next week.

Instead of fixed programme fees, participants contribute according to what is possible and joyful for them — and we work this out together.

Registrations close this coming Friday, March 6th.

And for those of you in or near London, there is an opportunity to explore this playfully, in real life, with real people and real money:
